Celtic Fine Food & Wine Festival
- Saturday 17th May
Come and savour the Celtic flavour of Wales at this
bountiful springtime fair. As many as 3,000 visitors
are expected at Fishguard Town Hall, between 10am and
4pm. There will be 30 stall holders from all parts of
Wales offering some delectable treats. Local folk singers
will accompany the town band in providing some medieval
and traditional Celtic sounds to complete the festivities.
The fair is in its seventh year since it was conceived
in 1997 to help commemorate the French Invasion of 1797
and local retailers and pubs tend to lend their support
and join in the festivities with special offers for
the day.
Why not take a look afterwards at some local handiwork
at the Craft Fair at St Mary's Church Hall, Fishguard.
It is held in aid of Shalom House Hospice and will no
doubt to round off a great day out.
Newport Bay Spring Festival, from May 16th to 19th 2003,
